The FlatFin Minnow is a unique, slow-sinking trolling lure (5" long, 3/8 oz). Unlike mass-produced blanks, I custom-designed and 3D-modeled this lure from a real alewife to perfectly mimic the natural profile and tight wiggling action of shad-like baitfish.  Fans of the classic discontinued Storm ThinFin Shiner will feel right at home- the FlatFin Minnow delivers that same thin, shad-like profile, but with an even more realistic shape and swimming action. Less crankbait, more alewife!

Proprietary Geometry: Features an ultra-thin body and ultra-tight shimmy that triggers strikes from neutral or pressured fish. Engineered to track true even at trolling speeds over 7 mph!

Superior Visibility: Built with oversized glow eyes that really POP (watch alewife underwater videos...the 1st thing you will notice as the school is approached?  The EYES!) and my signature UltraMega Glow spine, featuring UV-reactive materials molded directly into the body for low-light/deep-water performance.

Innovative Hook Harness: Includes a de-coupled hook harness to reduce fish leverage during the fight and keep trophy fish pinned.

Each lure is individually hand-tuned in my test pond to ensure proper tracking — so don’t be surprised if it shows a few water spots! If it’s not running true, a gentle tweak to the line tie will dial it in.  Move the eye the opposite way the lure is rising.
